On 10 December 2019, representatives of National Regulatory Authorities responsible for Audiovisual Media Services met in Brussels at the 12th ERGA Plenary meeting.

Members discussed and adopted ERGA’s new Rules of Procedure in order to adapt its functioning to the revised AVMSD and to make it more efficient. Members also adopted the deliverables of their work in 2019 and agreed to concentrate on the following three topics in 2020:

• Cooperation between regulators in cross-border cases, particularly in the online environment.
• Disinformation, particularly its definition, and continuing to assist the Commission in tackling the issue, building upon the ERGA monitoring conducted in 2019.
• Prominence, findability and non-discriminatory distribution of audiovisual media content on online platforms.

Exact details will be defined in the Terms of Reference for each subgroup early 2020.
