The European Regulators Group for Audiovisual Media Services held its seventh meeting on 9 March 2017, in Brussels.
During the plenary meeting, ERGA adopted its Report on the Protection of Minors prepared by the taskforce chaired by current ERGA Vice-Chair – Lubos Kuklis form the Slovak CBR. The Report provides an overview of protection measures currently used by a wide range of players in the so-called ‘converged audiovisual media landscape’.
During the meeting ERGA members also discussed the upcoming activities in 2017. They approved the terms of reference of four ERGA subgroups set out in the ERGA Work Programme 2017: ERGA subgroup 1 on exchanging good practices; ERGA subgroup 2 on the protection of minors; ERGA subgroup 3 on self and co-regulation and ERGA subgroup 4 on future-proofing of ERGA.
ERGA members also discussed their cooperation with EPRA.
